Recruitment Notice

His Excellency, Governor Dr. Dauda Lawal

Has approved the recruitment of 500 TVET Teachers across various technical and vocational disciplines to strengthen technical education in Zamfara State.

The Teachers Service Board invites qualified technical and vocational education professionals to apply for teaching positions in Junior and Senior Secondary Schools.

Teacher Qualifications for TVET

To train students effectively in Technical and Vocational Education, teachers must combine pedagogical skills with specialized technical expertise.

NCE Technical/Vocational
Professional teaching qualification focused on technical and vocational courses
B.Sc/B.Tech in TVET
Degree combining core subject discipline with education component
ND/HND + PGDE
Technical diploma plus Post-Graduate Diploma in Education
Trade Test Certification
Industrial certifications or advanced trade tests in specialization area

Application Requirements

  • NCE Technical/Vocational or B.Sc/B.Tech in TVET or ND/HND + PGDE
  • Trade Test/Professional Certification in specialized area
  • NYSC Discharge/Exemption Certificate where applicable
  • TRCN Registration/Certification (Advantage)
  • Maximum Age: 45 years for technical specialists
  • ICT Proficiency (MS Office, Technical Software)
  • Willingness to teach in technical schools across Zamfara State
  • Minimum 2 years industrial experience (for certain trades)
